Two lucky runners of Penang Bridge International Marathon 2018 will drive away with a brand new Perodua Axia worth around RM34,000 each this Nov 25.

PBIM is excited to unveil two chic Perodua Axia for its lucky prize winners, courtesy of Datuk Syed Aidid Syed Murtaza, who is the event race director, in collaboration with PBIM.

Only participants of the Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km Run who completed their race within their respective qualifying time at 7 hours (Full Marathon), 3 hours and 45 min (Half Marathon) and 2 hours (10km) will be eligible for the lucky draw.

This is in line with the PBIM effort to motivate runners and ensure a more competitive environment for the participants.

Penang is working on rebranding PBIM as an international marathon with this in mind in our effort to place emphasis on quality instead of quantity.

This is along with the attractive cash prizes totaling RM259,200 which will be given away to the top 10 winners of each category.

PBIM is aiming to draw in more international runners and sportsmen who are joined by their common love for the sport.

PBIM chairman YB Yeoh Soon Hin said the event is part of the initiative to encourage healthy sportsmanship among people regardless of race or nationality, especially in Penang as the state work towards enhancing the quality of life.
