Which registration type should I choose?
If you are registering for yourself, AND your friends/ family, please choose the Blue Tab labelled “Individual, Friends and Family”.
If you are registering for a group of runners from a company, OR a school, OR a running club OR an organisation, please choose the Red Tab labelled “Company, School, Sports Club”.
Can I register on behalf of my friends and family?
Yes. If you are registering for yourself, friends and family, choose “Individual, Friends and Family”. If you are registering for more than one person, you may add multiple runners under your account by clicking “Add New Runner” after you register each runner. You may make payment for everyone under your account at once and you are able to manage all runners under your account.
If I register on behalf of my friends and family, what is the race pack collection procedure like?
Official receipt will be sent to the personal email of each runner. Each runner will need to bring their own IC/ Passport for race pack collection. You may collect the race pack on behalf of them by bringing your own (collector) IC/ Passport and official receipt OR copy of IC/Passport of respective runners. You may also opt for courier service (for addresses in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore only).
Can I send my friend to register and pick up the race pack for me?
Yes. Your friend will need to show us a copy of your official receipt or a photocopy of your IC/passport.
If I register for a group of runners under “Company, School, Sports Club”, can they collect their race pack themselves?
No. For group of runners registered under “Company, School, Sports Club”, only bulk collection is allowed. The person-in-charge will have to collect for all runners under the same group.
I’m representing a group which is neither “Company, School, nor Sports Club”, can I register under that category?
Yes. If you wish to do bulk collection and all runners under your group and you have one person-in-charge to manage the group of runners, you may choose to register your group under “Company, School, or Sports Club”.
How do I pay?
You will have to make payment online after you complete the online registration form. Available payment methods are Credit Cards (VISA/ MASTERCARD/ AMEX), OR Online Banking (MayBank2u, PBeBank.com, Bank Islam, AmBank Group, Alliance Online, RHB Now, Hong Leong Connect, CIMB Clicks, Affin Bank processed via ipay88).
Do not send CASH or CASH DEPOSIT or ONLINE TRANSFER to PBIM account.
When is the deadline for registration?
Online registration for the 2014 Penang Bridge Marathon will be accepted until 30 September 2014.
Can I register on race day?
No. We do not accept registration on the race day.
I have paid for the race, but due to family problem I am unable to compete. Can I defer my participation to your 2013 race?
No. We do not offer deferments or refunds.
May I change my race from Half Marathon to Fun Race or vice versa?
No, changes in category are NOT allowed.
Do I need a qualifying time to enter the Penang Bridge Marathon?
Are there any Corporate Team or Team Relays?
No, there are no team relays.
ON THE RACE DAY
Can I run without a bib number?
No. Full, Half, and 10K MUST wear their bib clearly on their t-shirt. Fun runners will not be allocated any running numberd.
If I forget to bring my timing chip (Bibtag), can I run without it?
Yes. BUT you will NOT be qualified to receive any medal or certificate from us.
What is the average Temp at Start Time?
Approximately 25° C start time and at the finish about 30° C.
What are the rewards for the race?
Please check the site for specific award and prize information for each category.
Where can I get a map of the race course?
The course map is available in this website.
How long will the finish be open?
The finish will be open for 7 hours.
How can I review results at the end of the race?
Online information will be posted within 5 working days from the time of the final finisher.

I am not running but I would like to cheer for my family and friends.
The race begins at the base of Second Penang Bridge. There is plenty of room for cheering along the road at the start, or along the finish line.
I’m with the press. Can I contact interview with the runners?
Yes. We will prepare a press stand on the race day. Please conduct your interview there.
How can I obtain a booth or insert an item into the runners’ goodies bags?

How do credit card transactions work?
1. The customer (you) shops at merchant website and select credit card as payment option during checkout
2. The customer enters the credit card details required at a secure payment page powered by IPay88 gateway.
3. The customer is required to enter one-time password (OTP) at bank’s page to authenticate the online purchase.
4. The transactions will be sent through secure credit card payment network for approval.
5. The credit card issuer approves the transaction with approval code.
6. Payment has been made successfully to merchant.
Why is the name stated in my card statement “IPay88”?
We have appointed IPay88 as our third party payment gateway to process online transactions.

IPay88 is a third party payment gateway that has been authorized to process payment transactions of credit card,
