Dear APBIM 2016 runners,
Please reminded that our Race Pack Collection for APBIM 2016 has started since 18 November 2016, kindly bring your original IC / official receipt if you are collecting for yourself.

If you are collecting for your friends, please make sure they send you photo of their original IC or official receipt and saved it in your phone then show to the volunteers at the counter.

*Passport for Non-Malaysian

PBIM Committee is organizing a photography contest for runners, photographers and photo enthusiasts to join our ASICS Penang Bridge International Marathon 2016 Photography Contest!

Your photos must be taken on 27 November 2016, particularly on the bridge and the marathon site. We will not entertain shots that are taken at the starting or finishing line. Please remember give way to runners, especially for those who are using equipment such as tripod, do make sure you do not block them for completing their race.

Participants are allowed to submit unlimited number of photographs either by email, post or hand-delivered to:-

ASICS PENANG BRIDGE INTERNATIONAL MARATHON 2016 - MEDICAL FORUM II PDF Print E-mail

The ASICS Penang Bridge International Marathon committee would like to invite all runners to attend a Medical Forum to be held on 30 October 2016 from 2.30-5.30pm at Sunway Hotel Georgetown.

There will be experienced orthopedic, dietician, and physician to guide and advise you on what to do for completing your upcoming marathon on 27 November 2016. We want all of you to be well prepared before going for the race.

30 October, Sunday | 2.30 - 5.30pm | Sunway Hotel Georgetown, Penang

* Registration is free

2.30pm                        : Registration

2.45pm                        : Mr Soon Chee Kian, Orthopaedic from Loh Guan Lye Specialists Centre

3.30pm                        : Physician from Osel Clinic, Penang

4.15pm – 4.30pm        : BREAK TIME

4.30pm                        : Dietician from Penang Island Hospital

5.15pm                        : End

ASICS Penang Bridge International Marathon (APBIM) 2016 - Running Clinic II PDF Print E-mail

Time: 7.30am – 10.00am

Venue: Penang Botanic Gardens

*FREE admission but registration is required, for APBIM 2016 participants only

The second APBIM 2016 Running Clinic will be happening on 9 October, from 7.30am-10.00am at the Penang Botanic Gardens!

Experience running instructors will be invited to guide runners on the Do’s and Don’ts in marathon. This FREE Running Clinic is held to provide marathon beginners a basic kick-start on running and to encourage runners to improve their running performance and training style.

Instructor details and topics to be shared are as below:

First Session, 7.30am

Instructor, Ms Lisa Lim
Warm Up Session
(Duration: 30 minutes)

Background:
The first Zumba licensed instructor in Penang.

Second Session, 8.00am – 10.00am

Topics: Preparation for a marathon for beginner in term of types of trainings covered, Q & A and etc.

Besides that, this is also a great opportunity for participants to get to know other APBIM2016 runners and exchange their experiences and knowledge on running or marathon.
